Randonneur Awards

Awards

While randonneuring is non competitive there are a number of medals and awards a cyclist can earn.

Brevet medals – Each ACP sanctioned brevet has a corresponding medal for that distance. There are 200, 300, 400, 600, and 1000k medals and their design changes every four years after Paris-Brest-Paris.

1000k and 2000k awards – These result from the total distances covered in one year riding ACP and/or RUSA sanctioned domestic brevets, populaires, and fleche rides up to the 1000km distance. To earn both awards in one season require  a total of 3000 km.

Super Randonneur – If you complete a series of brevets (200, 300, 400, and 600 k) in a single season you are entitled to the ACP’s Super Randonneur medal.

Randonneur 5000 – The highest award from the ACP is earned by successfully finishing a Paris-Brest-Paris, a fleche team ride, a brevet series (200, 300, 400, and 600k), a 1000k brevet and additional brevets to total 5000k within a four year period.
